A hole that connects the outer and inner spaces of a tool containing a certain space. The tool that plugs that hole can be called a lid.

When a paper lid nearly the same size as the hole is placed over it, the paper slowly falls into the hole as if trying to stay there as a lid.

Its slow descent possesses a mysterious charm; it seems to defy Earth's gravity, stunning us and capturing our attention.

While watching, we think of nothing; we simply observe the movement.

We hope this moment allows us to detach from the accumulated thoughts and emotions of daily life and surrender to the natural order of the Earth.

或る空間を内包する道具に於ける、外側と内側の空間を繋ぐ穴。 その穴を塞ぐ道具が、ふただと言える。

その穴の大きさとほぼ同じ大きさの紙の蓋を置くと、紙は蓋として留まろうとしているかのように、ゆっくりゆっくりと穴の中を落ちる。

ゆっくりと落ちる様は、地球の重力に反するような動きで不思議な魅力を持ち、私たちをはっとさせ、しばらく目を奪う。

それを見ている間は、何も考えず、ただその動きを見ていられる。

その時間が日々の暮らしで積み重なる様々な思考と感情から一度自分を切り離し、地球のことわりに身を委ねる時間になればと思う。
