I am really grateful for having worked at this company
At KOKUYO, I spent a long time in charge of development and design of office furniture for meeting centered on chairs and tables.
The knowledge I gained there served as a foundation for my research today.
Especially the knowledge on resin molding, metallic processing, managing various materials such as wood and textiles, and dimensional design to support human motion is something I could not gain but at this company. Furthermore, I am grateful for meeting senior colleagues as good role models.
Since two of the models I was in charge of are at university, I run the renewed photos of the two I took at university here.
この会社で働くことができて、本当によかった。
コクヨではミーティングチェアとテーブルを中心としたミーティング用家具の開発・デザインを担当している期間が長かった。そこで得た知見も、今の研究の礎になっている。
特に樹脂成型、金属加工、木材、テキスタイルなどの多様な素材使いと、人体の動きをサポートするための寸法設計は、この会社だからこその探究を通して得られた知見だと思う。それに、手本とすべき先輩方にも出会えたことが良かった。
担当した製品のうち2機種が大学にあったため、改めて撮影したものを掲載する。
