Through this clock, the ephemerality of time passing is represented.

I tried to express it with the frailty of a thin paper and the shade created the delicate creases.

I made this by sample to show in class at Metropolia University of applied sciences, Helsinki, Finland, where the theme of the class was to explore designs of tools that people use with their sensitivity.

When I made this, I realized that clocks are rarely moved or touched once they are put on the wall. If so, I thought that paper might be the best material for that.

時計を通して、時が移ろう儚さを伝える。

薄い紙の持つ弱さと、かすかな折り目が作る陰影でそれを試みた。

人の持つ感性を用いて使用する道具のデザインを探究するため、

制作してみて思うのは、時計は壁に掛けた後ほとんど移動されることも、人に触れられることもない。

それならば、紙が最も適した材料かもしれないという事だった。
