家具を通して生まれる、おとな と こども が寄り添う時間。

おとな と こどもが家具を通して関わることで生まれる、新たな寄り添いの時間に暮らしの豊かさを見出す。

そのようなコンセプトでデザインされた家具のシリーズです。

家具は、使う時だけ収納から取り出して使用するのではなく、常に暮らしの中に存在し続けている道具です。

常に在るからこそ生み出せる家族の関わり合いに具に目を向け、おとなとこどもの間に必要な繋がりを基準に視点を整理します。

そして、家具が果たせる役割を深堀りするように研究し、その役割を拡張するように製品として具現化しています。

そしてもう一つ製品として大切にしたことは、こどもが大きくなっても使える家具であること。

人体寸法を基にデザインされる家具は、こどもの成長と共に寸法が合わなくなり、使えなくなります。

それを避け、長く人の暮らしで共に在る道具にしています。

そのような視点で研究を進める事で、私たちの暮らしには今まで存在しなかった、しかし在ると確かに嬉しくなる、そんな家具が生まれてきました。

この家具が人の暮らしと共にあることで、心豊かな時間が一層沢山生まれることを願っています。

A new time for parents and children created through furniture.

We are finding the quality of life in the heartwarming moments created when adults and children interact with each other through furniture.

This series of furniture was designed with this concept.

Furniture is not something that is taken out of storage only when it is used, but is a tool that is always present in our lives.

We look at the family relationships that can be created by the constant presence of furniture, and organize our viewpoints based on the necessary connections between adults and children.

We then conduct in-depth research into the roles that furniture can play, and embody them as products that expand on the roles.

Another important aspect of the product is that it is furniture that can be used by children even after they grow up.

Furniture is designed on a human scale, so it can no longer be used as the child grows up.

We avoid this and design furniture that can be used for a long time in our lives.

By conducting research from these perspectives, we have created furniture that has never existed in our lives before, but that certainly makes us happy when we have it.

I hope that this furniture will be used in people's daily lives, and that it will bring you many more spiritually enriching moments.
